Flatbed Division
Our Flatbed Division consists of 30 Peterbilt three axle power units equipped with 48-foot stepdeck trailers and 48-foot flats. For weather bearing loads we have ability to keep the product safe and secure with our curtain van trailers.
Covering eleven Western States, our units haul building materials, consisting of lumber, sheet rock, roofing and other materials 365 days a year
Our experienced professional dispatchers keep the units loaded and rolling maintaining the time sensitive nature requirement of each load.

Alfafa and Hay Division
Specializing in the acquisition, sale and transportation of alfalfa and other forage our fleet of 20 dedicated Peterbilt’s and 2 Hay Squeezes provide reliable and efficient service to dairymen and growers throughout the state of California.
We also bring hay in from ranches in Oregon and Nevada filling the dairy sheds and hay press operations throughout California.
With this diverse operation and customer base our drivers stay busy year around, even during the winter months.

Aggregate Division
Our Aggregate Division consist of local hauls from quarries to local masonry block plants and batch plants. Our fleet of 40 Peterbilt 2 axle power units and a fleet of 75 double bottom dump trailers are able to meet our customer’s annual needs.
Additionally, we have 4 transfer units, working in conjunction with our bottom dumps providing the diversity necessary in the construction industry.

California Agriculture Division
Transportation of California agricultural products is an integral part of our operations and has provided the growth of Mike Lowrie Trucking from its inception in 1978. Recognized as one of California’s premier agricultural carriers, Mike Lowrie Trucking transports agricultural products to food processing plants from February to November of each year.
Starting in the southernmost part of California, near El Centro, we begin with bulk carrots. Progressing north throughout the season we begin hauling bulk onions in early May. In July we begin our tomato season and finally tie out our agriculture season in the northern part of California near Tulelake in late October.
This undertaking consists of 200 Peterbilt power units and over 800 sets of flat beds and 24/7 operational hours. Our customed designed equipment allows us to readily convert trailers to the unique processing product to which is in season.

Agriculture Hopper Division
Our diverse Agriculture hopper fleet consist of 180 hopper bottom trailer. Covering a majority of Californias farm ground, we are able to accommodate almond, walnut and pistachios as well and any and all grain hauling needs.
With availability of 50 Peterbilt power units, we are able to quickly and efficiently tend to our customer base in the fast-paced manner of the season. Due to the time sensitive nature of these loads, our experienced dispatchers keep the units loaded and rolling 24/7.
